Kang-do is a heartless man with no family whose job is to threaten debtors into repaying loan sharks a 10x return. To recover the interest, desperate debtors sign an insurance application for the disabled, and Kang-do injures them brutally so they can file the claim. His life changes when a strange middle-aged woman visits, claiming she is his mother.
