Sarah and her mother Sophia return to visit her beloved Grandpa, but he is now suffering from dementia. Always positive, Sarah thinks of ways to boost his memory. Her father also comes to see her for the first time after abandoning pregnant Sophia in New York. There is a chance at reconciliation, but Grandpa must have his say first.
