In 1375, China is in chaos as the Ming Dynasty takes power. The Kingdom of Korea sent a diplomatic delegation as a gesture of peace. However, they are thought to be spies and exiled to a remote desert. When they learn a Ming princess was kidnapped during the war, they decide to rescue her for a ship to return home.
