While traveling the countryside, Zatoichi meets the One Armed Swordsman, Wang Kang, who is in hiding and protecting a child from a corrupt Japanese priest and yakuza. Although from different worlds, the heroic swordsmen get along at first, but a language barrier and misunderstandings lead Kang to distrust Ichi, as they both try to save the child.
