Seven years after his apparent death in Japanese-occupied Shanghai, Chen Zhen reappears as a mysterious stranger who befriends and infiltrates the local mafia collaborating with the Japanese. Disguised as an avenging martial artist by night, Chen intends to take out everyone involved and find an assassination list of Chinese citizens prepared by the Japanese.
