In the early days of World War II, when the Republic of China was suffering at the hands of invading Imperial Japan, the Chinese Air Force had only 300 combat aircraft, while Japanese Air Force had over 2,000. This documentary depicts not only the Chinese pilots' bravery, but also their romantic notions of valor in serving their country.
