Although her husband is busy working as a salary man, Yoshiko is not an ordinary housewife. She devotes herself to an animated film project at home. Their daughter Sachiko is obsessed by feeling followed around everywhere by a giant version of herself. Uncle Ayano then arrives, desperately seeking to get his head straight after working years in the music business.
